The lights go out
and the crowd goes wild
i stand up
and take a bow
And when i turn back
and look upon my memories,
i cannot separate
the stage from me…
i pick a rose
from me feet,
the sweet bloom
sets my heart free…
I wonder
who would be
by my side
as i exit my last stage
even as I’m surrounded today…

Awesome, I think we’ve all wondered about this before.
Good job on making it relevant and concise.

Nicely done. As a performer, I really relate to the lights going out, the crowd going wild, and that last exit, the one with the rose. . . well done.
